Transactions: Delilah – Months Later

A friend asked me if I had been back to Delilah after the session I discussed in earlier posts. [post 1, post 2, post 3, and post 4] The answer is yes. I went back to Delilah twice and might still be visiting her if I hadn’t become aware of a change in me. The change has nothing to do with morality or awareness of exploitation or any other thing that might breed guilt and shame. I had two reasons for not returning to Delilah. One practical and easy. The other emotional and very messy.

Dad Visits

Last Tuesday, my dad finally arrived in Seattle. He’s been on the road since August 26th. Total road miles = ~4500. His vehicle = 2000 Harley-Davidson Road King plus a trailer. It’s an impressive trip. From his home in Minnesota her rode to Pheonix, AZ for a family reunion. From Pheonix he went to High Voltage Tattoo in Los Angeles, CA to get a new tattoo. This shop is run by Kat van Dee, tattooist from LA Ink on Discovery Channel. Dad tried for months to get an appointment with Kat, but was unable to get a reply from anyone. So he settled on one of the staff tattooist and a walk-in. That tattoo looks great and he walked away with a free hoody from the shop.

SinnerSaint Burlesque 09-2008

SinnerSaint Burlesque has been entertaining crowds at Club Noc-Noc since 2006. Dane Ballard, your host, leads the way through a gorgeous and talented cast of performers. This evening we were treated to Evelyn Sin Claire, Valerie Veils, Honey Moon, and Jacqueline Hyde. What a great time!
