Raccoon Carobtree is that mix of adorable and sexy that does wonders for the libido. Petite and perfectly packaged, she is quite the treat to the eyes.
Amber is just a thrill to spend time with. I have to admit that my mind was not on photography much of this sitting. Good thing I’m not well hung. I’d have knocked over my lights.
This was a fun shoot that allowed me to explore some old themes. The nude study has always been a favorite subject in just about any medium. Amber was a pleasure. Very comfortable in her skin and up front about her comforts.
Angel and I had an excellent time. This was my first one-on-one session with her and my first full session in the new studio. The irony for October is that I will probably not work at all in my own studio. I just have several outside bookings that are going to keep me away from there. Sigh.
Below is my first set of nudes in some ten years. Wow. It’s unbelievable to me that I haven’t shot a nude in that long. This sitting was organized through Meetup.com. I was shooting with two other photographers. We worked in round robin fashion. Each taking a five minute turn over four rounds. I left with 47 images that whittled down to eleven below.
Ashley Haven (Model Mayhem#: 52421) was great sport with a good sense of humor. Her professionalism and flexibility made those short shooting turns easy to live with. If I have a chance, I’d work with her again.
My personal critique is that the lighting needs more depth and better fill. The images seem a little flat. I tend to appreciate more contrast. I’d also work more on my posing direction, but again, Ashley minimizes my lack of experience.
